The Seven Stars Inn, originally built in 1724, is a charming and cozy venue nestled in the village of Shincliffe. With a warm welcome and inviting atmosphere, our inn offers a unique blend of rustic charm, and modern comforts.
We take great pride in our culinary offering. Our talented chefs have curated menus that celebrate the finest locally sourced produce and supports local suppliers wherever possible. We offer traditional country dishes to gastronomic delights for you to indulge in.
The Seven Stars Inn has 7 modernised ensuite bedrooms with are available all year round. Perfect for a mini break, or a longer stay if you prefer to explore the surrounding area.
If you are looking to book the Seven Stars Inn privately for an event, we have a dedicated event team on hand to help you with planning and guide you every step of the way.
We are also dog friendly in our bar area, so after a lovely walk in the countryside, pop in for a drink and bar snacks with your favourite canine companion.

Ory
In hospitality and catering for over 17 years, working as Head Chef at North East venues for 7 years. Ory is a true believer in supporting local producers, so works with fresh products and uses local suppliers wherever possible. Always up for a chat and loves talking about his ideas and creations
Matthew
A born and bred entertainer and entrepreneur. He has been within he public house industry for over 10 years so knows what makes a good pint and is always happy to have a chat.
Keaton
With 8 years experience as a Chef, he worked his way up to business owner. Brother to Ory, and only in his 20’s he has made big achievements in his young years, showing the passion and ambition he has to succeed.
Lewis
With over 10 years experience in hospitality, specifically within pubs, do not be deceived by Lewis’ young years, as what he doesn’t know about the pub industry isn’t worth knowing! A ‘fun time guy’, enjoys his wine and knows how to entertain.
